Text or image

A text watermark flags the status of a document: draft, copy, confidential or internal use. An image lets you put your logo or stamp on every page.

With low opacity the mark is visible without getting in the way of reading. With the repeated layout it covers the whole page, which makes it harder to crop out when the document is copied.

What to expect from the result

The watermark is added to every page, on top of the content, and becomes part of the PDF: this tool can't remove it afterwards, so keep the original.

The text uses a standard font that covers the accented letters of European languages, but not other alphabets such as Cyrillic, nor emoji. For those, use an image.
