Rotate one page or several

Scanned documents often have one or two pages sideways or upside down. Instead of rotating the whole file, you can rotate only those pages: each page has a button to rotate left and another to rotate right, and each click turns the page 90°. To fix an upside-down page, click the same button twice.

The thumbnail rotates as you click, so you can check the result before saving. Pages you do not touch stay exactly as they were.

The rotation is saved in the file

The tool writes the new orientation into the PDF itself, so the pages open the right way up in any viewer, and not only in the one you were using. It is the permanent kind of rotation, not just a view setting you would have to repeat every time.

The content of the pages is not re-rendered or resized. Text stays text and images keep their quality.

Tips and common problems

If a page still looks wrong after you apply the changes, open the thumbnail preview again and check which page you rotated: rotations add up, so a page turned twice is upside down.

This tool only rotates. To change the order of pages, use Reorder PDF pages, and to delete blank or unwanted pages use Delete PDF pages. If the file does not open, it may be password-protected and need unlocking first.
