Unlike Split PDF, which separates every page, here you decide the size of the pieces: one chapter per file, the even pages on one side, or a document cut into blocks of 10 pages.
The files in the ZIP carry the range in their name, for example report-1-3.pdf, so you can tell at a glance what each one contains.
Ranges and blocks
You can use 7- for “from page 7 to the end” and -3 for “up to page 3”. If a range is repeated, one file is created each time you type it.
With the Every N pages option the last file can have fewer pages than the rest if the total isn't a multiple of N.
