This site is a personal project, free of charge and without advertising. It offers no paid services or e-commerce and is not run as a business or professional activity. For that reason the owner is identified by name and a contact email address, and the site has no commercial registry entry and requires no administrative authorisation. The owner will provide any other identifying details to the competent authorities and courts when the law requires it.

The owner receives no consideration for the use of the site. The only contributions the owner may receive are the voluntary ones described below, under “Links to other sites and voluntary contributions”.

EditPDFEasy offers free tools to work with PDF files and images directly in your browser. Files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to any server.

Accessing and using this site makes you a user and means you have read and accept this legal notice in the version in force at that time. If you do not agree with it, do not use the site. Using it is free and requires no registration. If you are a minor, use it with the knowledge of your parents or guardians.

You agree to use the site lawfully and in good faith, and only with files that are yours or that you are authorised to process. You are responsible for the documents you process and for how you use the result.

Using the tools for unlawful or fraudulent purposes is prohibited. In particular: forging or altering documents with intent to deceive; signing on behalf of another person without their authorisation or impersonating them; processing content that infringes third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, data protection); or accessing protected documents without the right to do so.

It is also prohibited to damage, overload or disable the site or its infrastructure; to circumvent its security measures; to introduce viruses or other harmful elements; and to make abusive automated use of it, such as mass extraction of content or sending an abnormal volume of requests.

The Unlock PDF tool must only be used with documents you have the right to access and whose restrictions you have the right to remove.

The owner may deny or restrict access to the site, without prior notice, to anyone who breaches these terms.

The tools are provided as they are, with no guarantee that the result is fit for a particular purpose. Always keep a copy of your originals and check the result before sending or archiving it. Each tool creates a new copy and does not modify your original file.

Performance depends on your device's memory and power. Very large files may be slow or fail to process.

Some operations do not irreversibly remove information. For example, Crop PDF only changes the visible area of the page: the cropped-out content may remain inside the file and be recovered with other tools. If the document contains sensitive data, check the result before sharing it.

Compress PDF reduces the file size and, depending on the level chosen, the quality of the images in the copy it generates; that loss of quality cannot be reversed.

If you protect a PDF with a password and forget it, the document cannot be recovered. The protection is only as strong as the password you choose.

The Sign PDF tool adds your signature to the document as an image. It is a simple electronic signature within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 910/2014 (eIDAS), not an advanced or qualified signature with a certificate. On its own it does not prove the signer's identity or that the document was not changed afterwards; whether it is sufficient depends on the document and the rules that apply to it.

The tools are provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from errors or continuous availability. The owner may modify or discontinue the site without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss or alteration of files, loss of passwords, defective results, incompatibilities with other software or failures of your device.

The owner does not guarantee that the site is free of viruses or other harmful elements. The owner does not introduce them deliberately, but it is your responsibility to keep your device and browser protected and up to date.

Nor is the owner liable for any unlawful or fraudulent use, or use contrary to these terms, made by users, or for the damage that such use causes to third parties. The owner does not access the files you process and cannot control what you do with them: responsibility lies entirely with whoever uses them.

If a third party made a claim against the owner because of your unlawful or fraudulent use, the owner may pass on to you, to the extent the law allows, whatever the owner had to bear as a result.

The owner is also not liable for linked third-party sites, applications or services, or for those that use the name or appearance of this site without authorisation.

Nothing above excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, in particular liability arising from the owner's wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights that consumer law gives you.

The code, texts, translations, design and other content of this site belong to the owner and are protected by intellectual property law. All rights reserved: no licence is granted to copy, modify or redistribute them, except as the law allows or the owner authorises in writing.

In accordance with Article 4 of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and its transposition into Spanish law, the owner expressly reserves the rights over the content of the site and excludes it from text and data mining for commercial purposes, including the training of artificial intelligence systems, unless expressly authorised.

The name EditPDFEasy, its logo, its visual identity and the domain editpdfeasy.com are reserved to the owner. You may not use them without prior written authorisation, nor present another service as this site or suggest that it is affiliated with or endorsed by it.

You may link to the public pages of the site as long as the link is truthful, does not embed the site within another page using frames, and does not suggest a relationship, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.

Your files and the results are yours: the owner acquires no rights over them.

This site links to other sites, such as GeekNómada and Ko-fi. Links are provided for information only and do not imply a recommendation or endorsement. The owner is not responsible for the content or practices of external sites; if you find a broken link or unlawful content, write to us.

On Ko-fi you may, if you wish, make a voluntary, one-off contribution. It is a show of support, not payment for a service: it gives no access to additional features, creates no contractual relationship and gives no right to support or special guarantees.

Ko-fi is a third-party service with its own terms and privacy policy. The payment and any matter related to it (including issues or refunds) are governed by its terms.

You can write to [email protected] to ask questions about this notice, report misuse of the site or notify content that you believe infringes your rights. This email is the direct and effective means of communication with the owner.

So that we can deal with a notice about content, state what the content is, where it is, why you believe it infringes your rights and how we can contact you. We will handle communications within a reasonable time.

The owner may update this legal notice if the site or the law changes. The version published at the time you use the site applies. If the project changed (for example, if it added advertising or paid services), this notice would be updated with the information the law requires. Last updated: September 2026.

This text is offered in several languages for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

If any provision of this notice is declared void or unenforceable, the others remain fully in force. The owner's failure to demand compliance with a condition at any given time does not mean the owner waives the right to do so later.

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. To resolve any dispute, and unless consumer law provides for another forum, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply.
